Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow, born in Cologne to Christian parents, had three siblings and brothers. Angela Gossow was seventeen when her parents split up. Their business went bankrupt, which added to her financial troubles. Being anorexic and bulimic further contributed to her problems. When asked about her decision to resign in the role of singer for ARCH ENEMY, Gossow stated that there's a time and place for every thing. The first time I began was in the year 1991. The joy I felt in it slowly diminished. So I decided to step down instead of pretending. Johan Liiva was the original frontman of the band, Johan Liiva was replaced in 2000 by German singer Angela Gossow.
