Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian performer and actress, is best known for her roles in Tamil and Malayalam films. Her debut as an actress was the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam debut with Annayum is in the film. Andrea Jeremiah was raised to a Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer working at the Madras High Court. Her older sister is living and working in Leuven Belgium, as a Research Assistant. Jeremiah comes from Chennai. She was a student at National Public School, and after that, she graduated Women's Christian College. Andrea began learning classical piano at the age of eight. She was a big geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. She was part of The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. It was this group that shaped her musical and singing career. While at college she was also an actor and appeared in stage plays organized by The Madras Players. Andrea was the president of The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started performing as a young performer in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. She starred in a leo commercial along with actor Shiva. She has also acted in a TV show which was telecast on Podhigai. She has performed throughout India. She had a short character in the finale of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham A. Menon was invited after she performed a number in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu to appear as the lead female character on Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani the wife who's husband has an affair with someone else. Andrea was chosen for the part following the actors Simran Shabana as well as Tabu were invited to audition for the film. which released in early 2010. In 2011, she accepted the role of a support as Venkat Prabhu, who starred in Mankatha. It came out on the 11th of August the 11th of August, 2011. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic film that was released in 2013.
