Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986, in Hereford, England) is a English artist and singer. The public was captivated in the year 2010 by releasing her hit singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses" British vocalist Ellie Goulding rapidly rose to the top of the charts with her energetic electronic pop. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a distinctive soprano voice and has a talent to write songs that are emotional with inspiring lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as the artful independent music.
